Ellis Richards Silverware, most recently known as David Richards & Sons or “The Silver Shop” on New Cavendish Street in W1, welcomes you to its website. 

With nearly 50 years’ experience in the silver business, I am the 4th generation of a London-based family business, that traces its roots back to my Great Grandfather in the latter half of the 19th Century.

Following my older brother’s retirement last year, I am continuing the legacy with the same passion, expertise and customer service that has passed down through the business from generation to generation.

Whilst physical retail presence of over a Century in London’s West End was briefly paused in 2020 as a result of the pandemic, the business has adapted to serve both existing and new customers with an online presence. Ellis Richards Silverware prides itself on offering a range of products, from everyday items and collectables to the rare and extraordinary.

We regularly work with and have built up an unrivalled network of businesses and individuals throughout the silver market. This means that if we do not have what you are looking for in stock, we are often able to source it, no matter how unusual or esoteric the item sought.
